In the article are presented the results of a research of representations of students about teachers by the way of comparison of the image of “real” and “desired” teacher at trainee of different directions of preparation of VSUES. The relevance of a subject is caused by escalating requirements to effectiveness of education important component of which are mutual relations in "teacher-student" system. In our opinion, technological changes in education involve discrepancy of professional level of the teacher to the presented psychological requirements. The problem of relationship between students and teachers takes the important place in modern higher education. Representations of students of the person of the teacher of the higher school are one of the major subjective factors defining efficiency of educational process. Students’ opinion of that or other teacher, interest in his occupations exerts a great influence on assessment of quality of teaching and also on success of assimilation by students of the professional focused knowledges. The method of subjective semantics and psychological testing was applied to carry out a research. Received results promote revealing of the existing problems in communication between students and teachers and their further decision both from teachers, and from students. As a result of conducted research it was found out that representations of students of real teachers do not corelate with their representations of desired teacher revealed discrepancies found qualitative description. On the basis of received material problem zones in mutual relations of teachers and the students of VSUES of different directions of preparation were revealed, information is brought up to university administration and is planned to formulate ethical standards of interaction.
